The fertilizer business of Paiditallamma Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO), Pusapatirega Mandal, Vizianagaram District, was inaugurated with a traditional puja, marking a strong and auspicious beginning for farmer-led input services.
On Day 1, member farmers stocked and purchased 267 bags of urea and 168 liters of nano urea, reflecting the trust, active participation, and preparedness of the FPO members.
Following the inauguration, Shri Nagaraujana Garu, DDM, NABARD, visited the FPO and appreciated the collective for taking decisive steps toward the financial sustainability of the organization. He also engaged in discussions and advised closer coordination with the Horticulture Department to address challenges related to coconut crop cultivation.
BREDS supported this initiative through facilitation, institutional strengthening, and capacity building, enabling the FPO to move toward self-reliant and farmer-centric service delivery.
