Development of water carrying capacity of Water bodies and drinking & irrigation wells. is a community based with sustainable resource and , aimed at reducing poverty and migration of the tribal communities. In the state of Andhra Pradesh BREDS pioneered this model with the support of NABARD BREDS has proved it successful and today that has been extended to all parts of the state. Maathota has become a replicable model for promotion of in the state. The project has positive impact on increasing food and nutritional security in tribal areas by making both food availability and in tribal areas.
